From the start at 1947, the group has experienced strong growth and reached a turnover of € 50 million in 2014. The designed lifts operates at low power which greatly reduces the impact on the environment. A typical customer is a wealthy villa owner with an old or disabled family member. However the products are very flexible and can be installed in virtually all types of buildings.
“We have been present in Southeast Asia for several years through a network of distributors. To improve our visibility and boost our sales, the next step is to set up direct sales in the local markets with a Hong Kong hub, along with increased support to our existing partners. The goal is to rapidly increase the sales volumes by focusing on the fast growing markets of Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand” says Michael Hagen, the Sales Director at Cibes Lift Asia. Michael has worked in Business Development at the Swedish head-office for the last 5 years and moved to Hong Kong in March this year.
In order to reach the ambitious targets, the company plans to hire more than 20 people by 2017, whereof almost everyone in the local markets.
